Editorial Process
Peer Review Process

All manuscripts undergo a rigorous single-blind peer review process to maintain the high quality and integrity of publications and to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reported research.
- Initial Screening by Managing Editor:
Upon submission, the Managing Editor conducts a plagiarism screening. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism will be rejected at this stage.
- Pre-Check by Academic Editor:
Manuscripts that pass the plagiarism check are assigned to an Academic Editor (typically an Editorial Board Member) for pre-evaluation. The Academic Editor assesses the manuscript’s suitability based on criteria such as scientific novelty, alignment with the journal’s scope, and overall completeness. Editors with potential conflicts of interest are excluded from handling the submission, and an alternative Board Member will be appointed. Manuscripts meeting the pre-check criteria proceed to peer review.
- Peer Review by External Reviewers:
At least two independent external reviewers with relevant expertise are invited to evaluate the manuscript. Reviewers provide comments and recommend one of the following decisions: Accept, Revisions Required, Resubmit for Review, or Reject.
- Decision by Editor-in-Chief:
- Based on the reviewers’ reports and the Academic Editor’s assessment, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision. The Managing Editor then communicates the decision and reviewer comments to the authors to support further improvements.Accept Submission: The manuscript proceeds to production.
- Revisions Required (minor): Authors have up to 2 weeks to revise and resubmit.
- Resubmit for Review (major): Authors have up to 4 weeks to revise and resubmit for a further round of review.
- Reject Submission: The manuscript is archived, and the review process ends.
- Production and Publication:
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading. Authors may be contacted for clarification or additional adjustments during this stage. Prior to publication, authors must approve the final PDF proof. Upon publication, a DOI is registered by VIRTUAL COMPANY OF PHYSICS SRL Publisher, and the article becomes immediately available to the public.
- Appeal Process:
Authors may appeal a rejection by submitting a formal email to the journal’s editorial office. The appeal must include a detailed justification and point-by-point responses to the reviewers' comments. The decision resulting from the appeal is final and not subject to further review.
Note: Authors may suggest potential reviewers (including name, profile link, and email address) for consideration by the editorial office. They may also indicate non-preferred reviewers in an avoidance list.
